Team Players>> Chris Cahill Striker (#10) (2005) Youth team striker playing in the reserves in the second half of the 2004-05 season. It is at an away fixture against West Ham's reserves that he finds himself in the dressing room with Fletch, who is depressed at reaching the lowest moment in his career under a manager in Don Barker who hates him. All Chris can respond with is “Cheer up mate... might never happen” to Fletch's “It already has”. Following this, Chris gains a first team place, and joins the team in their Show The Don Respect campaign after Barker is fired. Don is replaced by Viv, who Chris spends the rest of his time in the first team under. Although out of the Champions League at the Quarter Final Second Leg, the squad sails through the Play Off semi-final, though Chris is not selected for the final in Cardiff. This ultimately saves his life, as Harchester win promotion back to the Premier League but are killed when Barker drives his car into the team coach. Chris is released from the club that summer.
