Detective Inspector Reed (Nick Bayly)

Out to arrest Patrick Doyle for conspiracy to defraud following his bet on the club's relegation and involving Jamie in the match fixing. He attempts to entrap Doyle with Jacqui, but thanks to Phil Patrick is already wise to her, and doesn't admit to anything. Unbeknown to Doyle, Inspector Reed has installed a camera in his hotel room, and when Fletch bursts in to confront him Patrick slips up and they have the evidence to arrest him.
