Thug from Lee Presley's old estate in Liverpool. Arrives in Harchester with his crony Rodney Driscoll, where they assault Lee and pull him into the back of their van.
John tells Lee his mother Tina owes him money she can't pay, so has signed her son over as he is
about to sign his pro contract. John tries to force Lee into signing for Chelsea, where he will be paid proper wages, and splits him apart from Nikki and Jeff. When Jeff tries to square up to John, he and Rodney put him in
hospital. Nikki realises they will get rid of John
if they send Tina away, and inform Chelsea how Lee doesn't want to sign.
