Mackay93: We all know you originally went to audition for Jason Porter, but were given the Miguel Lopez role. If you now had the choice, after seeing all the storylines, would you choose Lopez over Porter? (After all, you do get to kiss Katy).

James Floyd: I am over the moon at how Miguel turned out. That is basically down to the fantastic production team. I think that I'm much better suited to playing Miguel but I know that Frankie had an absolute ball playing Jase. I can't discriminate by picking one but I will say that even though Porter kissed the stunning Ms Perfect....Miguel did have like 100 romances...what a pimp! Nothing like the actor.

Parker_T.Marje: What is your most embarrassing thing you have done on-set?

James Floyd: Cheers Parker. There is a HUGE list of things that cast and (especially) crew would love to divulge. I will tell you one thing. During the scene in ep 14 where Jason and Miguel are running from the flat in London(after I've nearly slept with that guy's girlfriend)...in between takes I flexed my muscles out of vanity(cos I was half naked)....and it made it onto the outtakes reel!!! Everyone cheered and laughed when they saw it at the wrap party. I looked like a right twat!!

Justine Stevens: You are all the other lads have great body's, but is it embarrassing to film the shower scenes? And how do you do them?

James Floyd: this seems to be a frequently asked question...lol. It's not as embarrassing as you would think Justine, because the cast and crew make you feel so at ease on set. I know it sounds cheesy but DT really is like a big family...we all got on so well that we had no problems hanging(no pun intended)around with only our boxers on. That's how it works...we all have boxers on and slip them down quite low just in case the camera films us that low. Although you can go naked if you want. I would have no problem with nudity as long as it isn't gratuitous.

Justine Stevens: If Miguel had to be killed off (who knows, with 5 episodes left he may well be...) but out of all the following deaths (that we have seen on the show) choose one for Miguel. Plane Crash, Coach Crash, Coach Explosion, Bullet in the Head, Choking on Chewing Gum, Smacked around the head by one of the clubs trophies, Carbon Monoxide poisoning, Heart attack, Shot during a siege, Drug overdose, Jumping off the top of the stadium, Smacked on the head with an ink bottle.

James Floyd: I would love to get the chewing gum just simply because I want to see Tyson repeat 'Only choking...Get it!! Choking!' I kept corpsing during the filming of that scene....Tyson is sooooo funny! But looking at 'Carbon Monoxide poisoning'....that seems quite a cool way to go.

Jaws_Fletch_Sully: If I remember correctly you are not Spanish. Is it hard to perfect the Spanish accent and did you have any input on the nationality aspect of Miguel or was that decided by the producers?

James Floyd: Who said I'm not Spanish!!!! Haha! Well I had to really nail it way before filming for the audition. So I literally spent hours and hours going through footage of Antonio Banderas, Juan Carlos Reyes, Fabregas, Benitez, Rafael Nadal. Although the last two have very strong regional accents. Nadal is actually from Mallorca but it was all useful in some way. Luckily I speak a bit of Spanish and I have relatives in Spain(long story!)....and I have been there many times because I love their culture. Oh yeah. also my good friend and his mum are Spanish so they helped me out too. This was all in like three days, haha. Miguel was written as a Spaniard from the start by Jane and her associates.

Wilko: Just a quickie (as an actress said to a bishop) but I'm curious. During match footage scenes, after the team has scored, where do you film your celebrations? And do you find it slightly awkward hugging and celebrating even though really there's nothing to celebrate?

James Floyd: Haha...gotta love the aphorisms Wilko. We film at the New Den...Millwall's ground of course. And yes it is a bit silly doing it when there is no real match going on. But that is an actor's job....to lie convincingly to you guys. Although I think that all the actors were just celebrating that we were being employed!

Mills: Do you critique yourself when you watch the episodes on sky one? Love your work by the way.

James Floyd: Thanks Mills, much appreciated. To answer...Oh yes! I am the worst self-critic ever. This friend told me the other day that I am a perfectionist because I am a virgo. Don't believe in star signs but she got the first part right. I just want to keep evolving and improving as an actor....that is just fundamental to me. If I don't improve with every job then I'm in the wrong profession. I just hope that I never get to a point where I think I'm a 'great actor' because there is no such thing in my mind. It is art, it's based on opinions not fact.

kingofdreamteam: If you weren't an actor what you think you would be and why?

James Floyd: Hail the king of DT! I would probably be studying at university on my way to job in the city or some sort of 9-5 'normal' job. Acting is not a normal job. Although I would love to be a writer of some sort. I hope to write my own movies one day....I stress 'hope'. For me writing is something that can be done anywhere, anytime, anyhow and anyway.

Jewel: As an actor you will no doubt be asked to do take on different acting roles. Some you will enjoy and some you will not enjoy as much, but is there a role that you would not consider doing, and why?

James Floyd: Good question! At this point in my career I would pretty much do any role. The only 'plan' I have as an actor is to keep challenging myself by playing as many contrasting, varied roles as possible. But every aspiring actor seeks the luxury of choice in their career that say someone like Tom Cruise has. Until I get that luxury I wont be saying no to many things.

kingofdreamteam: Have you have been involved with police because I have seen you in Most wanted criminals! I'm joking.

James Floyd: No...errrr....I mean yes...no sir....nooooo! Stop shining that light in my eye! Haha...no seriously I'll leave that question to your imagination.

marcel4ever: What do you do in your spare time when you aren't acting?

James Floyd: Wow....lots of things. Outside of anything job-related I tend to play sports like golf, read a lot of random stuff, I watch a lot of films, write some pretentious crap that I think is 'artistic', see my friends, go to huge orgies and eat chorizo sandwiches. I made up one of those Annika!

kaliad: When you going to be in Hollyoaks. I was sad about Dream Team finishing but I guess Hollyoaks is full of Dream Team stars anyway!

James Floyd: haha....that's true. I've never auditioned for it but have heard lots of good things about it from friends who've been on it. It's a long way from home for me though. I'm a London boy all the way. Who knows what the future holds eh? I might be filming with Johnny Depp next week! Or I might not.

The Grim Reaper: are you a fan of Big Brother? What do you think about shows like Big Brother in general? And if your agent got you a place in this summers Big Brother- would you go on?

James Floyd: Sorry to offend anyone but I am not a fan and I would rather shoot myself in the face with an AK47 than go on a reality TV show. Harsh but true.

welshdragon: Liam Mackay will always be known as the character that tell 'the truth'. Do you believe that this is a good way to think? And would you always tell the truth, even if it hurts?

James Floyd: Yes I do believe in telling the truth, however I also think that most humans lie to themselves about what their reality is to make them feel philosophically satisfied. And yes I also believe that there is a time and a place for everything...including telling a 'white lie'. So bending the truth is not always a totally negative action in my eyes. That was such a pretentious reply!!! haha

Jewel: 3 things you would not be without on a desert island?

James Floyd: My mother (spiritually or in person), Max Ehrmann's Desiderata and Domino's pizza delivery(by boat) phone number.

sacre: We all "borrow" things from work with no intention of returning them, did you ever steal, sorry i mean "borrowed" anything from the set, an if so what?

James Floyd: Are you a cop? lol. I did not 'borrow' anything Sacre. But I did buy most of Miguel's clothes for a really good price. Not sure I'll wear them all....that velvet suit from the xmas party is already gathering dust...really nice but too glitz methinks! I love wearing the Kelme underarmour to the gym.

nykee14: Hey, You said in your interview that you were a gooner, do you get to many Arsenal games? What do you reckon of the team this season and which players do you like most?

James Floyd: You know I haven't had time to go this year but I still think that we have that Wenger flair and style that I love. We just need someone like Viera back. I think we lack that variation of football styles we had a few seasons back. I'm a huge Henry fan...not just his football skills but the way he presents himself off the pitch I think is fantastic. He is a true professional.

dragonslayer-----:  Do you come on harchester.net much? Is there many dream team actors that log onto here because I imagine you must be interested in what people say about you?

James Floyd: I'VE FOUND THE REAL DRAGONSLAYER!!!!! It's....Graeme! Lol. sorry about that outburst. I don't think that many do. I have peeked a few times recently but I don't really have time to check what everyone thinks about me. Although one of the boom operators told me that I'd been getting a good reception from you guys so cheers for that. If that is the case then you all have impeccable judgements.

The Grim Reaper: Well done for being one of the best characters this series! Without giving away anything you shouldn't, tell us something unique, behind the scenes gossip?

James Floyd: Ah thanks Reaper...don't visit me anytime soon though. Ok I've got some huge gossip for you right here....from the horse's mouth. It's a story unedited, XXX gossip. This will shock you all. So be braced and don't tell a soul.... especially not the tabloids. Here it is....what happed was there was this actor called.......... I've gotta go guys...but thank you all so much for being so supportive of the show...you guys are what puts a show like DT on air...I am so grateful for your time and love. PEACE James Floyd
