She admits that her ball-breaking character is modeled on the nasty Alexis, the super-bitch played by Joan Collins in the 80's cult classic Dynasty.
"I'm nothing like Pilar though." Marem assures us. "She's a great character but at the end of each day's filming I leave her on set - although my mum says that since playing her I've become more assertive."
It's not the first time that a beautiful actress has proved that she's no shrinking violet . Who can forget her in the Ford Focus commercial? She smiled wickedly as her arrogant boyfriend proposed marriage and then she drove the word "no" into the sand! And the sexy sizzler just loves getting her hands dirty and showing the boys who's boss. Her dream role is to play a kick-ass Bond Girl! "I would love to tell my grandchildren that I got to grips with James Bond." she says. "They'd be so proud." But the gorgeous star reckons she has a very sweet side.
She loves all her fellow Dream Team actors and likes nothing better than having a good gossip before she starts work. "Everyone thinks that if you put a group of girls together they get bitchy, but we are not like that at all." she says. We're like a big happy family and we all help each other." Marem also has lots of support from her family. She hails from Switzerland but has Caribbean, French, German and Venezuelan blood! With such sultry looks it's clear her international heritage has added up to a marvelous mixture! The cosmopolitan babe admits that she still has a big soft spot for her own country which she left three years ago to live in London. "I can yodel." she declares, "and I absolutely love Swiss chocolate."
She also loves to shout from the rooftops in her rock band Vertigo. With her hectic acting and music schedule, it's amazing that Marem has enough time to keep herself looking so fantastic. "I try and do yoga." she says, and apart from the chocolate, I eat quite healthily. I love cucumber and sushi." So how does she find time for her cinematographer husband Fredrik? "He's madly busy as well, but we have a rule that if we are separated for more than three weeks, one of us will go and see the other." We bet 21 days is more than enough for a red-blooded bloke to go without seeing this steamy star!
