Team Players>> Ashley Harrison

Goalkeeper (#12) (2000-2002)

Ash arrives from Millwall early in the 2000-01 season, replacing Simon Coggan as Harchester's second choice goalkeeper to Jamie Parker. Also Harchester's Reserve team goalie, Jamie sees him as an almost grim-reaper to his position, as Ash is younger and without the celebrity lifestyle to be distracted by. This is evident one day in training where during shooting practice, a clash with Campbell sees Jamie land awkwardly, dislocating his shoulder. As he recovers, Ash covers his position, and Jamie is fearing for his place, especially when Ash's first game sees a 3-0 win over Derby. Jamie is out for longer than he would have hoped, and Ash does the job for a 2-1 Harchester win over Newcastle, letting one by Gary Speed get past him.

The Dragons are in the Champions League (and out!) and UEFA Cup for Ash's second season with the club, and travels to the Son Moix for Harchester's opening CL match against Real Mallorca. He is out injured however before the UEFA trip to Shelbourne, where youth team graduate Alex Lawler replaces Ash in an on-going position as he recovers. Ash heads down south again when he is transferred to Leyton Orient.
