Charlie Taylor (Ryan Lee)

Midfielder (#41) (2004) / (#3) (2004-05)

Charlie Taylor was in Harchester's youth team in 2002-03, known to be amongst a group of stars in the Under 19's side with goalkeeper Justin Lee, striker Mark Dutzmore and defender Jon Whiteman. In the following season, Justin received an earlier call-up to the first when they were without a regular goalie, and in the January transfer window, Harchester were told by Coopers Bank there would be no money for outside transfers. This led the club to promote its youth team players, and Charlie, Dutzmore and Whiteman were called up to the first team bench. At the end of the season, Harchester finish 4th in the table and qualify for the Champions League, but the revelation of match-fixing which led to Harchester's earlier liquidation sees UEFA relegate the Dragons.

In this new Championship regime, Charlie is a regular in Harchester's starting eleven, and amongst all their team activities; Boot Camp, joining the lads to view Viv's flat when Presley moves in and finding Jaws's infamous Wall, and the team's Kick It Out and Show The Don Respect campaigns, following events in Rome and the dismissal of manager Don Barker. On the pitch, Charlie is in the side which glides through the FA Cup 3rd, 4th and 5th Rounds before exiting, and across the CL until its Quarter Final Second Leg.

Charlie has a starring role in the Championship Play Offs Semi Final being among the scorers in a 5-2 win over Preston North End. A guaranteed selection for the final in Cardiff, Charlie is on the pitch as Harchester secure their return to the Premier League with a 1-0 win against West Ham. Charlie boards the team coach with his fellow conquering heroes, and is lost with them when Barker, found out for killing Karl Fletcher, drives his car head-on, causing a huge explosion.

Although Charlie Taylor's time lasts from Seasons 7-8, Ryan Lee continues with the series as firstly, Football Producer in DT's mini-series prequel Dream Team 80's, before rejoining HUFC for Season 10 playing another midfielder, new character Bradley Summers.
