Team Players>> Carlo Chino (Carlo Castrichino)

Midfielder (#22) (2002-04)

Midfielder who begins getting regular call-ups from Harchester's reserves to the first team bench in the 2002-03 season. Boxing Day proves eventful for Chino when several places open up in the first team for their meeting with Manchester United, following a food poisoning outbreak owing to Karl Fletcher's Christmas turkey. Chino, along with his reserve team mate Sam Harris, and youth teamers Clyde Connelly and Paul Wood, are sort out as replacements for the game.

By 2003-04, Chino is still on the bench for the first team, but is prominent enough to captain the reserves, one of these times when they face the Leyton Orient reserve team at Waltham Forest F.C, joined by first teamers Curtis Alexander and Alex O'Brien, and as punishment from the Gaffer, Clyde. Andy Ansah is impressed by Chino's performances, and when Ryan Naysmith is out following a scare with sleeping pills, Chino gets a first team start, though it is a 2-0 loss to Bolton.

In the January transfer window, Sunderland make an offer for Chino, and it goes ahead just in time for Coopers Bank's Mr. Bartram forcibly shutting the door on the club buying any new players, making Chino the only Harchester player to leave in a transfer that window.
